Sounds like Barak felt guily. Looks to me like Bush didn’t name him directly. He could have been referencing Pelosi’s trip to Syria last year. And, a reference to Nazi Germany while in Israel is relevant given the context from which the modern state of Israel was born.
I don’t think that anyone has said that we should “appease the terrorists.” Meeting with those we brand our enemies may just be a step in the right direction. Perhaps the United States should pull the log out of their own eye and realize that they have, whether they choose to believe it or not, contributed to the problems in the MIddle East.
