I was reading about Judge Sotomayer’s confirmation hearings, namely how it seemed as though Sen. Jeff Sessions would shoot off a question at her and then declare it wrong, regardless of her answer, and all of a sudden memories started flooding back to me – Fall of 1996 – the Blue House – Harding – Kappa Sigs… Then it occurred to me: this is Sonia Sotomayer’s pledge week.

It’s like having Dusty Crawford in your face demanding that you recite the names of every club member past and present before making you do some insane amount of push-ups.

Lucky for her, Sessions hasn’t made her do any push-ups…yet.
