Free Music Friday: Holding Steady

Recently there has been a spate of great new albums from a variety of artists that I really like. One of them that I had been greatly anticipating was the latest from a band called The Hold Steady, a group with a cool bar band sort of sound and excellent lyrics. Their newest release is called “Heaven is Whenever” and though it is a bit cleaner sounding than their prior work and didn’t grab me as quickly, but it has definitely grown on me. I’m looking forward to seeing them this summer when they play Memphis with The Whigs. Check out the title song below:
