As a firm supporter of gender inclusiveness in Church of Christ, I found this site to be particularly interesting. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should check out Half the Church.
This new site has made its way around the blogosphere over the past 24 hours or so, turning up on preachermike, Experimental Theology, and Rude Truth, among others.
You’ll also notice that, though this issue brings up interesting intellectual points, it also brings out the absolute worst of the church. Just look at some of the comments on the sites referenced above and you’ll see it.
One of the best decisions I have ever made was to leave and get my family out of the COC. I have not looked back for a second.
