Who Is This Wisdom Guy Anyway?
My name is Matt Wisdom and I am a 30 year old father of two little girls and a third (and final!) child on the way in January. We live in the Memphis area and are very involved with our church, the Holmes Road Church of Christ, where I am a deacon in charge of the website. In addition to that, we help run a community garden in the Whitehaven area of the city by which we try to show the love of God to our fellow man. I love to read and write and hope to someday find the time to author a book. I have a passion for service and social justice that I have really just begun to realize in the past few years. Thank you for visiting my site and I hope that you will join me on this grand adventure.

I think the community garden is a wonderful idea!!! You have enough garden expertise, now, to be able to make it produce well! What a delightful surprise it will be to the church building neighbors to have access to it. Great idea!
I’m not so sure the gun idea is so great, though I am assuming you wrote that tongue-in-cheek. WR wouldn’t agree, but I think if you have a gun, you’ll use a gun (maybe). Personally, I think that unless you use a gun frequently and are comfortable carrying one around without stresssing, you probably won’t use it. Then there is the danger of little children getting access to it, accidentally. I vote for an old fashion Irish shelaleah or iron skillet! Love ya, Susan
